Google is adding time-lapse video support to the built-in Chromebook camera app.

You might have recorded a lot of time-lapse videos using your phone’s camera app. If you wanted to do that using your Chromebook, the only option right now is to use a third-party camera app.
This is changing.
A code change request we spotted today talks about adding time-lapse video support to the Camera app.

As usual, it might take a while before the time-lapse feature shows up in the camera app for us to test. We will update this article with screenshots when it is available.
